CRETE



1st day

We will get to the airport at 2 o’clock of the morning and will have to take a cab to get the hotel that it’ll be an hour of car. We will arrive to the hotel, which is called Atlantis hotel, at half past three and will get to sleep. We will wake up at 9 o’clock and will go and have breakfast in the hotel’s dining room and after we will take a bus to go visit the Knossos Palace which is a palace very important in Crete, and also it’s a great palace that was built between 1700 and 1400 BC with periodic rebuilding after destruction and we will spend the whole morning in it.
We will have lunch in the Knossos royal village which is the hotel near the palace, and we will go swimming to the swimming pools which are in the village. We will return to our hotel just in time to have dinner, and after we’ll play a game of cards and we will go to bed.

2nd day

We will wake up at 9 o’clock like every day and we will get ready to catch a bus to go visit Crete’s university which is the principal higher education institution on the island of Crete, it has 13,141 students and 240 administrative staff. This University is supposed to be the best research university in Greece. We will have lunch at the university’s nearest restaurant which is called “you live Alexander”, it has a kind of Mc Donald’s. after we will take another bus a will and we will return to the hotel and have a free afternoon, we will go round the hotel and do whatever we want until dinner time that we will meet all at the front door to go to the hotel’s restaurant where we will see the views to the seas and the other island from far away.

3rd day

We will get up a little bit earlier because the day before we had a lot of rest, so we will get up at 8 o’clock we’ll have a quick breakfast and we will leave the hotel at quarter to nine. And we will take a cab to get to the Archaeological Museum of Hania, which is quite far away. We will get there around an hour later and we will meet a guide which he’ll explain is all about the museum, which I think it will be very interesting. Then we will take another cab and we will go to a restaurant, near the hotel, to have lunch. This restaurant has the typical Greece food which is: the kebabs, the avgolemono, which is made with chicken, rice, eggs and with lemon.
In the afternoon we will go to Toplou Monastery which is a very ancient monastery, but it’s very nice. We will return to the hotel and we will eat something in the hotel’s snack bar and we will go to sleep, because we will be extremely tired.

4th day

We will get up at half past nine and we will have breakfast calmly in the hotel’s buffet. At 11 o’clock we will go to the beach and hire out a boat and we’ll go fishing during the whole morning and we will have lunch in the beach, a sort of picnic with sandwiches, crisps, some drinks, and other things. After we will rest on the beach for an hour sunbathing. At 6 o’clock we will hire out some bicycles and we will go cycling round the island watching the coves.

5th day

We will wake up at 8.30 and we will take a bus and we will go to the Hania, which is a very famous and very beautiful beach, where the entire tourists visit. We will rest on the beach; we will also go for a walk along the beach. We will have lunch in a restaurant that there in the beach, which they have Mediterranean food. And in the afternoon we will return to the hotel with the bus and we will pack all our things to go to airport and catch a flight to Antananarivo.
